When a situation escalates to where weapons are used, the circumstances become extremely serious. As a result, authorities may be called to the scene, and an individual could be detained on serious charges, such as attempted murder. If an individual is found in such a situation, they may wish to learn more about the potential legal situation ahead of them.

A Colorado man may soon be looking into his legal options as he has been detained on charges of attempted murder, reckless endangerment and other charges. The situation allegedly took place at a mobile home, and authorities were reportedly alerted to the situation by someone inside the home. The event purportedly involved a male who may have had a weapon and a female who had a gunshot wound to the back of her head.

Authorities transported the female to an area hospital where she was listed as being in critical condition. The male suspect as well as the male’s father and a third individual were all taken into custody for questioning. At this time, only the first male suspect was listened as having allegations leveled against him. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

An attempted murder charge as well as the other allegations the man currently faces can come with steep consequences if he is convicted. Therefore, he may wish to consider his legal options and gather information on Colorado state laws that could help him assess his case. This type of information could allow him to learn more about what to expect as his case proceeds and the best paths to follow for his circumstances.
